PGDay Lowlands 2024 is here! Save the date 13-09-2024!
PostgreSQL Europe is pleased to announce that PGDay Lowlands takes place September 13, 2024, at Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It was a long time since we had our latest PGDay in the Netherlands. Most of the organizers en committee members of this 2024 edition are part of the PostgreSQL Usergroup NL with support from PostgreSQL Europe. A true community initiative. Gerard Zuidweg, host and co-organizer of the PostgreSQL Usergroup NL is a member of the program committee on behalf of OptimaData.
PGDay Lowlands is a unique chance for European PostgreSQL users and developers to catch up, learn, build relationships, get to know each other and consolidate a real network of professionals that use and work with PostgreSQL.
Call for Papers (closed 9-07-2024)
The organization is now accepting proposals for PGDay Lowlands 2024!
All selected speakers will get free entry to the conference but do need to register. We do not in general cover travel and accommodations for speakers, but may be able to do so in limited cases. If you require assistance with funding to be able to attend, please make a note of this in the submission notes field.
Each session is 45 minutes after which there will be time for questions. All presentations have to be in English.
The submission deadline is July 9, 2024 at 23:59:59 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Selected speakers will be notified before July 30, 2024.
Great content everywhere
The conference covers a wide range of topics, as we expect talks ranging from internals discussions led by leading developers to end-user case-studies from small companies as well as large multinational corporations and government organisations, all who run their businesses on PostgreSQL.
…and let’s not forget the all important hallway track full of caffeine infused discussions with interesting peers from the community, that will most likely spill over into local restaurants and pubs after the event finishes.

Update 22-07-2024 Line-Up
The “call for papers” has ended, and after much deliberation, the review of the (more than 85!) submissions has also been completed. The program committee has managed to select a wonderful line-up of speakers. The complete program will be announced soon.
Schedule
The schedule has announced. We will start at 0900 with a welcome speech. After that, Leatitia Lavrot will kick off with the first talk. Then, for the rest of the morning, Pavlo Golub, Derk van Veen, and Peter Eisentraut will follow. Lunch and lightning talks will be held, and in the afternoon, Jérémie Grauer, Julian Riou, and Varun Dhawan will take the stage. We will conclude the day around 1700.
