Once you are hired, you will be assigned to clients on a dedicated basis, preferably 1 client at a time. We aim for a hybrid work location where we strike a balance between working from home, remotely and working in the client’s on-site team.

We bring you to the table with clients in assignments that are focused on your skillset and in line with your ambitions. Partly because of our reputation and positioning in the market, we get compelling and challenging assignments in dynamic environments where you can have a blast!

Becoming and remaining a good Data(base) Engineer is not easy. We facilitate and help you achieve your growth goals.

Below you can see the certification path for the OptimaData Certified Database Reliability Engineer and the certification path for the OptimaData Certified Skilled Data Engineer.

By the way, this is not mandatory. When you join OptimaData Interim, we want to facilitate you in this as needed. It is a model to help you achieve your ambitions and we want to help you with this.

• Obtain by choice
  • Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300)
  • Oracle Certified MySQL 8.0 Database Administrator
  • PostgreSQL 12 professional Certification EDB
  • MariaDB DBA Associate

• Achieve AWS Certified Database Certification
• Achieve CKA (Kubernetes)
• Obtain 1 additional specialty of your choice:
  • HashiCorp Terraform associate (003)
  • Microsoft DP-203 (recommended if you chose DP-300)
  • Docker Certified Associate (DCA)
  • OCI (Oracle Cloud Database Service Professional) if you are OCP 19
  • OCI (Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud Professional)

A total of 4 certifications. Then you get to put what you have learned into practice and apply your acquired knowledge in a use case or customer case. At the next quarterly meeting you will then present this to us and your colleagues after which you will be formally endorsed as an OptimaData Certified Database Reliability Engineer.

• Achieve AWS certified DevOps engineer
• CKA (Kubernetes)
• Obtain 1 additional specialty of your choice:
  • HashiCorp Terraform contributor (003)
  • Docker certified associate (DCA)
  • Puppet certified professional
  • HashiCorp Vault certification
  • Jenkins certification
  • Prometheus certification

A total of 4 certifications. Then you get to put what you have learned into practice and apply your acquired knowledge in a use case or customer case. At the next quarterly meeting you will then present this to us and your colleagues after which you will be formally endorsed as an OptimaData Certified Skilled Data Engineer.
