Our Anna is competing in the European IQ Foiling Championships in Embrun, France next week. From July 2 to 11, she will compete with the top European youth and junior talent.
Anna:
“Hi, I’m Anna, 13 years old and I will soon be competing in the European Iq Foiling Championships in Embrun, France. I went to Cadiz, Spain at the beginning of the year to prepare optimally for the Ek. I sailed several races there, in which I finished 3rd in my category. My goal is to sail in the top 10 for the upcoming Ek. I have been training hard for the past months, and I am really looking forward to it. Update 11-07-2024 – Results
Anna:
“After 10 races, which were either light wind slalom or course, I finished 16th overall and 4th in the U15! We had really light winds this week which made it a very tricky event.. After the first day I stood 35th overall, so I am very happy with moving up in the rankings throughout the week. I even managed to win one race!!”
Additionally, Anna has received the talent status from NOC NSF, which remains valid until she turns 18.
